Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Relationship Foundry, LLC (“we”, “us”) is the company behind Our Next Conversation (ournextconversation.com) and Our Launch Year (ourlaunchyear.com, in development). This policy covers both. Each product may publish its own member-facing summary; where they differ, this one governs.

2. What we collect

• What you give us: name, email address, mobile number, time zone, and optionally a birthday and a photo.
• What you write: answers, stories, messages and voice recordings created inside the product.
• What you do: which activities are complete, progress through an adventure, and sign-in times.
• About a gift recipient: when a membership is bought for someone else, the purchaser gives us that person’s name, email and optionally their mobile number.
• Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a record that a payment succeeded and which plan it was for. We never see or store card numbers.

3. How we use it

• To run the product and keep a member’s progress
• To sign people in, using emailed links and texted one-time codes
• To tell family members that something happened — never what was written
• To send reminders a family has asked for, such as a birthday
• To answer support questions and manage memberships
• To understand aggregate usage and improve the product

4. What a member writes belongs to that member

This is a design rule enforced in our software, not only a promise. The person telling the stories decides who hears them.

• The family member who bought the membership receives notifications about activity — never the text of an answer, unless the person chose to share it with their family.
• Staff at a partner organisation see participation rates only: how many people are active, how far through they are. Never content.
• We access an individual’s content only when they ask us to, for support, or where the law requires it.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are used to deliver sign-in codes and the account notifications described in our messaging policy, and are shared only with the messaging provider that transmits those messages for us.

We share information in three situations only:

• Service providers who run parts of the product for us, under contract and only on our instructions: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (text message delivery), Stripe (payments), and Sanity (the content our writers author). None of them may use the data for their own purposes.
• Where the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our members or the public.
• If the company is sold or merged, member information may transfer to the new owner under these same commitments.

6. Keeping it

We keep account information while a membership is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for records and to allow a member to come back. Stories and recordings are kept because they are the point of the product — people buy it to have them later. Anyone can ask us to delete their account and everything in it.

7. Your choices

• See the information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Have your account and content deleted
• Choose how we reach you — email, text, both, or not at all — in your notification settings, or by replying STOP to any text

8. Cookies

We use cookies to keep people signed in and to make the product work. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not run advertising.

9. Children

Our products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We will update this page when our practice changes, and tell active members by email if the change is material. The date at the top is always the date of the current version.
